When you’re experiencing low self-confidence and self-sabotage, it’s important to develop a strong mindset to confidently market yourself to make more sales and create more impact in your business.

In this week’s blog I’m going to be sharing with you 5 of my top tips for believing in your potential.

Self-doubt to Self-Belief

Mindful self-reflection when engaged in regularly is a powerful practice for getting yourself back in the game. Taking the time to understand your thoughts, feelings and reactions creates powerful shifts as often we suppress our feelings and get caught up in the ‘busy’ work of being a business owner.

We get to slow down to speed up.

Schedule some time in your diary to reflect on how you are feeling and practice self-awareness. The more you do this the more it will allow you to identify limiting beliefs or self-doubt. You can then work towards reframing your negative beliefs into positive thoughts and feelings.

Just reach for the next best feeling thought and go from there!

Seek and Acknowledge Positive Feedback

If you’re struggling to believe in your success after a setback I encourage you to actively seek feedback from clients and colleagues. You’ll be surprised at what you learn about yourself and I can guarantee this is one of the fastest ways you can bounce back.

We are often our harshest critics, so take the time to hear positive feedback from others. As Marie Forleo says ‘don’t look at what’s wrong with you, look at what’s right with you’.

Instead, take the time to acknowledge and receive positive comments about the value you bring to your coaching clients. Use this positive reinforcement to serve as a powerful reminder of just how capable you are.

Connect with a Coach or Mentor

A great way to overcome your self-doubt and go after your dreams is to work with a coach or mentor. Someone that will motivate, inspire and empower you. Who will help you identify your blind spots and hold you accountable when you self-sabotage or doubt your potential.

Having a coach or mentor can give you the guidance, support and external perspective that will benefit you as you navigate your coaching journey.

When you find the right coach or mentor you’ll have a sounding board to share your hopes, dreams and fears. This relationship will help you believe in your potential and offers huge potential for personal and professional growth. Every time I work with a coach or mentor it propels my business forward much faster than I could have done myself.

Even coaches can benefit from having their own coaches.
