What is Reiki?
Reiki helps resolve emotional distress and physical pain by allowing healing energy to flow freely throughout your body. It helps restore, balance and heal emotional or physical pain by channelling ‘life-force energy’, via the Reiki practitioner, into the chakras and energy centres of your body, speeding up your body’s natural healing abilities. A Reiki treatment is applied either hands-on or hands-off and can be delivered in person or at a distance / online.
Reiki is an alternative medicine technique that originated in ancient Japan during the mid 1800s.
Stress reduction: Reiki can help reduce stress, anxiety and tension, promoting a sense of relaxation and calm
Pain relief: Reiki has been shown to help relieve pain, including headaches, back, neck and joint pain, arthritis, digestive issues and other types of physical discomfort
Improved sleep: Reiki can improve sleep quality and promote a more restful sleep
Boosts the immune system: Reiki has been shown to boost the immune system and support the body’s natural ability to heal itself
Emotional healing: Reiki can help release emotions that are blocking well-being, promoting a sense of inner peace and emotional balance
It is important to note that Reiki should never take the place of medical treatments.
What should I expect?
A Reiki session typically involves lying down or sitting comfortably while the practitioner places their hands on or near the body. During a session, the practitioner uses a series of hand movements and positions to channel healing energy into the body, promoting physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
The practitioner will use a gentle touch or hand movements on or near your body, placing their hands on various energy points. You may feel a warm or tingling sensation during the session.
You may also experience a range of physical, emotional, and spiritual sensations, including feelings of calm, relaxation, peace, and healing.
It's important to keep in mind that Reiki is a holistic form of healing that focuses on the whole person, including the physical, emotional, and spiritual aspects of well-being.

Suzie is really wonderful at making you feel completely relaxed. She is very understanding and approachable. I am not easily relaxed but I find during and after my sessions with Suzie I get more and more relaxed. A great night sleep always follows. I felt calm and revitalised and would definitely recommend Suzie's services.

Suzie created a very comfortable and soothing environment and I felt deeply relaxed during the Reiki treatment. I had a few sessions and the pain and stiffness in my neck that I'd been suffering with for weeks start to improve after the first session and was totally gone by the fourth. The dizziness I'd been feeling had also disappeared,
which was amazing!

I found the Reiki treatment deeply relaxing and came out of it feeling very refreshed. It helped ease my stress and anxiety and I felt the heavy emotions I'd been feeling before the session had been lifted and I felt so much lighter. The
room was set up beautifully with scented candles and relaxing meditation music which added to
my wonderful Reiki experience.
I will definitely book again!

Q1. How many Reiki sessions will I need?
The number of Reiki sessions needed can vary depending on the individual and their specific needs. Some people may experience significant improvement after just one session, while others may require multiple sessions to see desired results.
Here are some factors that can influence the number of sessions needed...
- The severity and duration of the condition being treated
- The overall state of health and well-being of the individual
- The individual's response to Reiki and their level of commitment to the healing process
- The use of Reiki in conjunction with other forms of treatment or therapy
In general, it's recommended to start with a series of 2-3 sessions and then reassess your progress and see if additional sessions are necessary. Some people may choose to continue with Reiki on a regular basis to maintain optimal health and well-being.
It's always important to communicate with your Reiki practitioner and discuss your specific needs and goals. They can help you determine the number of sessions that may be necessary to help you achieve your desired results.
