Lessons around self-trust
As humans we’ll make mistakes, fact! We’ll try new things; a different launch strategy, a new marketing tactic, a different lead magnet. Some will stick. Some won’t.
It’s the things that don’t work, that we get wrong and make mistakes on is where we need to be mindful of the beliefs we create. When we spend more time and energy focusing on what went wrong we damage our relationship with trust.
Practice reflecting on the things you got wrong and the mistakes you made. What lesson can you take around this? How can you build deeper trust in yourself? How can you build stronger foundations? Take the experience and use it to build strong foundations. You just have to have the willingness to find it.
Your relationship with trust
When you lack trust in yourself and your abilities you damage the relationship with your business. You self-sabotage through procrastination, perfectionism and overthinking. Delaying the success of your heart-centred business and not hitting your goals. So what do you do to build trust in yourself and improve your relationship with your business?
Look at who you need to forgive and make a list of those that have betrayed you. Practise the ancient Hawaiian technique of Ho’oponopono or do cord cutting with the person that betrayed your trust. Where do you need to forgive yourself? Where did you not live up to your word and let yourself down. Take the time to 1) write a letter to the person that betrayed you the most and 2) a letter of forgiveness to yourself for the times you betrayed yourself.
Having faith
When you’re in the thick of a challenging situation in your life it’s hard to see the woods for the trees. It’s easy for your fear based emotions to take over. And this is exactly when you need to have faith and look back at the times when you went through something similar. When you came out the other side. As it’s this that will help you shift your vibration from one of low vibration to one of high vibration.
Look back and find evidence for all the times you thought you couldn’t overcome a challenge and did. All the times you thought you wouldn’t be OK and you were. How did it change your relationship with trust? What did you learn from each experience? What were the lessons you took away?
