Are you ready to dive in?
Clarity breeds action
Sometimes you know where you’re self-sabotaging i.e. through procrastination or perfection. Other times, you need to dig a bit deeper and gain clarity on what’s holding you back from more confidence, sales and impact in your coaching business.
With charity comes action.
A great way to do this is by looking at repeating themes or patterns. If you keep a journal, review your entries over a period of weeks or months. Notice if there are any repeating patterns or themes that you have written about. This will help you gain clarity on where to look.
Look for common triggers, situations or behaviours that lead to self-sabotage. This is another great starting point and will help you gain clarity so you can get into action. Pay attention to what you’re trying to avoid and why. What do you see as the negative consequences of you taking action? Are these consequences real or are they just BS excuses?
Breaking Bad Habits
The first step to breaking bad habits, taking action and building your confidence for better results in your coaching business is self-awareness. Get clear on what behaviours are serving you and which aren’t. Breaking bad habits doesn’t happen overnight. So start with small changes and gradually build up to more significant behaviour changes. Make sure to celebrate small victories along the way!
When you create better habits you change your behaviour and get improved results and with them comes more confidence, sales and impact. Set reminders to engage in your new, positive habits, and reward yourself for sticking to your goals. Rewards reinforce positive behaviour and make it more likely that they’ll stick.
Confidence comes from doing
It’s important to take consistent action to build your confidence in order to be able to achieve long lasting results. Make sure to break down your goals into actionable steps and commit to taking daily consistent action towards them. Over time these actions will compound and lead to bigger results and increased confidence.
Building daily consistent action comes from pushing yourself outside your comfort zone. By taking on new challenges and experiences without letting fear get in the way. Each time you step outside your comfort zone these actions become easier. Increasing your chances of success, and building your confidence when dealing with unfamiliar situations.
