Strategies for increased confidence
Do you prepare before your sales call or do you just dive in? For me, what’s worked really well is connecting with the transformation I know I’m able to create for my clients. Letting go of the attachment to the outcome and really stepping into excitement and enthusiasm for my offer.
Take the time to connect with your offer, get excited about it and show up on a sales call with passion and commitment. It’s infectious! I’ve made my easiest sales when I’ve come to the call with this mindset. Let any doubts and fears go and remember why you created your offer. Most importantly connect to the transformation it’s going to create for your clients. Think of the impact and the ripple effect you get to create from your offering.
Transforming your energy
No’s can be hard! I’ve been there and had my fair share so I know how frustrating it can be to get off another sales call with an ‘I need to think about it’ or ‘it’s too expensive’. The feeling of despondency, wondering when you’re going to get a yes. It can affect your confidence, self-belief and overall self-worth…if you let it!
This is why it’s important to notice what energy you’re bringing to the table. What are your expectations? If you enter each sales call with the energy and mindset of ‘I’m going to get another no’, ‘sales is so hard’, then you’re more likely to create that into your reality. We are a vibrational match for what we put out. Pay attention to your energy. Meditate and do some tapping / EFT before the call to ground yourself.
Self-belief and enthusiasm
It can be challenging to embrace self-belief and enthusiasm when all you’ve had is no’s or ‘I need to think about it’, followed by being ghosted. That’s why it’s important to connect to an earlier version of yourself when you felt excited and enthusiastic about sales calls or your offerings. Connect to the energy that is going to shift you out of lower vibrational emotions, such as fear and worry. Connect back into higher vibrational emotions, such as joy, happiness and excitement.
Dare to dream of what is possible for you. Dream big! Notice what you see, hear and feel. Connect in with that energy, knowing that anything is possible. If others have done it, so can you. Don’t let your confidence and self-belief pull you down. Step into an earlier version of yourself that embraced these feelings and connect with the vision of what you want to create in your life and business.
