Life has shifted to the fast lane and in this blog I’m going to address how to get out of hustle and back into flow. We’re going to explore my top ten tips for balancing your feminine and masculine energy. What to do if you’re heavy in your masculine energy and caught up in hustle mode. Lastly, how to increase your receiving powers by spending more time in your feminine energy.

Life has changed and as much as it’s important to shift with the times, it’s also key for our development and growth to stay grounded and balanced.

Reclaiming balance when you’re stuck in hustle mode
If you feel you’re heavy in your masculine energy and caught up in hustle mode, the first thing to do is an audit of your week. Where are you in hustle mode? Is it a certain time of day? A certain activity? Ask yourself, ‘where can I find pockets of time to be more in my feminine energy’?
When you know where and what is keeping you in hustle mode you can get practical and create a strategy for more balance and flow in your life. Identify from the list above what practises you’d like to bring into your daily life and then schedule them.
As Marie Forleo says, ‘if it’s not scheduled it’s not real’. That’s why I love time blocking and creating buffers in my diary. It allows me to create space for stepping into my feminine energy. So take the time to really look at your diary. Then carve out 10 or 15 minutes to practise slowing down and receiving. Remember, nothing changes unless you do. Start today!
Spending more time in your feminine energy
Now that you’ve identified feminine energy practices and have time blocked spaces in the day, the next step is to create more of a regular routine. For me I like to practise this in the morning before the day has started. But you know your schedule best. When does it work for you to create 30 – 60 minutes of consistent practices? Those that will ground you and support you throughout the day.
I encourage you to do this first thing, but of course that’s not always possible with kids to get to school and a business to run. The key thing is that you create a regular practice and make it non-negotiable. For me I commit to ALWAYS doing at LEAST three practices in the morning to set myself up for the day. Then if I find more pockets of time through the day I add in little practices.
It can be anything from standing in the garden for 5 minutes, feeling the fresh breeze on my face. To taking time up with a cup of Yorkshire tea and read five minutes of my book. It’s also important to recognise where you’re making excuses. Because we all have time for 5 minutes in the day, even if that means hiding in the toilet from our family, kids or work colleagues. Take the time to prioritise you!
